Plant-Based Pittsburgh (also named Food for Health) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to provide education and ongoing support about how to adopt and sustain plant-centered eating habits. We strive to build a "community of health" based on the practice of whole food, plant-based (WFPB) food choices, i.e. grains, legumes, vegetables, and fruits, and with minimal processed foods, sugar, oil, and salt.
As a hub for the greater Pittsburgh area, we offer:
-
Meetings & Cooking Classes at Pittsburgh-area locations and online events: see our YouTube channel. Whether new or experienced with plant-based lifestyle, all are welcome. Come and meet others who are learning and benefiting from plant-centered eating; you'll receive helpful information, support, and plant-based camaraderie! [Please, no sales pitches.]
-
